AREAS THAT WE NEED HELP
Board Member - The Board meets the Third Tuesday of each month at 7pm for roughly an hour. You do not need to be a member at Cary United Methodist Church to be on the Board.
Classroom Helper - The parent will come in to help with duties as assigned by the teachers (example: fill paint, cutting, organizing, filing...).
Library Helper -The parents will help enter and label new books into the library system.
Open House/Ice Cream Social Helper - Parents will help set up and decorate for the ice cream social.
Teacher Appreciation Helper - Parents will help plan and make small gifts for teacher with the help of the director.
Christmas Program Helper - Parents will help set up and decorate for the Christmas Program.
Toy Cleaning Helper - The parent will help clean and disinfect the toys.
Playground Helper - The parent will help keep the playground weeded and neat.
Fundraiser Helper- The parent will help with fundraiser preparations and/or distribution.
Scholastic Book Program Helper - The parent will date and assemble Scholastic Book Orders to be sent home.
Party Helper (3's & 4/5's) - The parent will support the staff in prepping and conducting the parties. The planning of the parties will be done by the staff due to time constraints and snack safety issues.
Party Prep Helper (2's) - The parent will support the staff in prepping the parties. Due to the young nature and separation issues, we wait until the children are 3 years old before adding parents to the participation of the parties.
